Advocacy:
I'm a passionate advocate for addressing the global education crisis. To meet the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal for Education, UNESCO estimates the world will need 44 million more teachers by 2030—15 million in sub-Saharan Africa alone.
In this series, I explore the real story behind the crisis—what’s driving it, who it affects, and how education connects to issues like music, race, gender, disability, collaboration, poverty, climate change, social injustice, and more.
The Global Education Crisis
I am deeply passionate about music education and firmly believe that everyone deserves access to quality education. Yet, the global education crisis remains a harsh reality, with young people facing daily challenges due to climate change, gender inequality, financial and language barriers, public health emergencies, political conflict, and unfortunately, many more. Through this opportunity, I am eager to develop my advocacy skills, commit to driving change and pushing for greater investment in quality education for all.
I was inspired to launch this series after becoming a Global Youth Ambassador for ‘Their World’ , an organization dedicated to tackling the Global Education Crisis. These thoughts and initiatives are my own and not organized or with by @theirworldorg team .
